Money shouldn't control politics. People should.

The American two-party system has been overrun by big money. Over $20 billion was spent on campaign contributions in 2024. 70% of these funds came from special interests, corporations, and dark money.


Our solution:

Empower Independents to run, win, and serve without dark money, and outside the two-party system. By making it possible to run a viable campaign without these corrupting influences, Americans will see truly representative democracy.

We're not a political party.

GoodParty.org is not a political party. We provide the structure, grassroots support, and tools to make it possible to run a winning campaign without the baggage and habits of the two major parties. We're organizing the 135 million of us without a political home to reject big money in politics and support candidates pledging to serve their community, not big money interests.

We only work with candidates and elected officials who are independent of both major parties and the influence of big-money. Take the Good Party pledge to access your tools.

Independent

Candidates must run and serve as a non-partisan, independent or third party candidate, not as a Democrat or Republican. Candidates do not accept endorsements from either the Republican or Democratic party.

People-First

Candidates must get a majority of their funding from individuals, not from political action committees (PACs), lobbies, unions or corporations. Once elected, they will focus on solving the problems facing their constituents, not serving themselves or special interests.

Anti-Corruption

Candidates must always uphold the highest level of integrity by being open, transparent and accountable about their donors, positions and progress. They must only serve the people, so they commit to using the best tools and data available to stay connected and responsive to their constituents.
