Economy Pueblo’s economy is the backbone of Southern Colorado. My experience with the El Pomar Foundation and the White House Office of Legislative Affairs has shown me how to leverage resources and policy to drive growth. I am committed to cutting red tape for our small businesses and ensuring District 3 is a hub for high-paying jobs and sustainable investment. Criminal Justice / Public Safety With my extensive background in the criminal justice system—from serving as a Judicial Law Clerk to my work in the Pueblo Veteran’s Treatment Court—I know how to make our community safer. I am focused on creating a system that prioritizes victim safety, supports our law enforcement, and uses proven methods to reduce recidivism. No one in this race understands the mechanics of public safety better than I do, and I am ready to put that expertise to work for our community. Environment / Energy Pueblo’s future depends on protecting its natural resources. As the former clerk to a Water judge Aaron is uniquely positioned to tackle these deeply complex issues and challenges with pro-active solutions. Healthcare As a brain cancer survivor, Aaron understands that Health is foundational to a thriving Pueblo. Aaron supports expanding Medicaid access, a state public option, and working towards health equity in our our healthcare systems but also in our environment.
