Public art fosters meaningful community engagement, deepens our sense of identity, and elevates our quality of life. It also plays a crucial role in supporting local artists, giving them the platform they need to thrive. Civil Rights April is dedicated to building a more inclusive and prosperous community. Healthcare Like most of New York, the communities of Western New York are struggling with staffing deficits at healthcare facilities and a lack of investment in their much-needed social services. That’s why April, who has consistently championed health and social service issues in the community, is needed to advocate for us. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Our criminal justice system is broken, especially here in Western New York. But there's hope for change with April, a fearless advocate for reform who is committed to ensuring public safety while demanding accountability.
