Infrastructure / Transportation Encouraging development that attracts new employers and provides needed commercial space. Education Champion our CTC, Career and Technology Center, modernizing and expanding capacity for programs that students need. Economy I am committed to working closely with our business leaders to ensure government serves as an enabler, not an obstacle, to success. That’s why I strongly support initiatives like the Small Business Navigator and Ombudsman positions in the Planning Department, roles dedicated to helping entrepreneurs navigate regulations and get timely answers, so they can focus on opening and growing their businesses. Infrastructure / Transportation Attracting more local employers so fewer residents need to commute down I-270. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Promote cooperation among county and municipal agencies to provide the most efficient and effective emergency services. Education Champion Frederick Community College, enabling affordable higher education and essential workforce training. Infrastructure / Transportation Reducing congestion on key corridors and intersections. Housing As housing costs continue to climb across the region, I’m committed to making housing affordability a priority through smart planning, effective partnerships, and responsible development. Infrastructure / Transportation Controlling growth responsibly. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Protect Frederick County’s high quality of life by keeping public safety a top priority. Education Expand support for special education to ensure equitable access. Education Increase per‑pupil funding to align with our economic capacity. Social Services Seniors are now the largest population group in Frederick County, making it critical that we provide the services and support they need to live healthy, active lives. It’s important that seniors know about and take full advantage of programs like the Homestead Property Tax Exemption and the Property Tax Credit for which they may qualify. We cannot let anyone be taxed out of their homes. Education Boost teacher and staff compensation to attract and retain exceptional educators. Infrastructure / Transportation Expanding transit options for those who don’t drive. Infrastructure / Transportation Collaborating with state and federal partners to bring our tax dollars back home. Education Sustain capital investments in new schools and modernization. Infrastructure / Transportation Supporting smart, balanced growth that creates good jobs and preserves the quality of life we all value. Economy We must continue to foster smart, sustainable business growth that creates good jobs and helps more people live and work right here in Frederick County. Infrastructure / Transportation Prioritizing infrastructure improvements for schools, roads, and safety services. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Advocate for sustainable staffing through SAFER and other funding mechanisms. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Ensure capital investments in facilities and equipment.
