Drug Policy Cannabis Legalization. Healthcare Texas needs to utilize these funds towards coverage expansion, cost reduction for families, and strengthening our local hospitals and clinics. By responsibly investing the wealth Texas already generates, we can guarantee that no Texan is left without care and that our healthcare system reflects the values of fairness, opportunity, and dignity for all. Education I believe public money belongs in public schools, and that investing in our children is the smartest investment we can make in Texas’s future. Private school vouchers are not only bad policy — they are unconstitutional. Infrastructure / Transportation Texas will continue to invest in highways, but these projects must go hand in hand with expanding public transit. Every dollar we spend should create choices, reduce congestion, and help Texans get where they need to go without wasting hours in traffic.
