Criminal Justice / Public Safety Public safety is a fundamental responsibility of government, and David will not waver in defending it. Environment / Energy David will fight to protect energy workers from federal mandates and anti-job policies that threaten paychecks, royalties, and state revenues. Criminal Justice / Public Safety David will work to support law enforcement, stop revolving-door policies that put dangerous offenders back on the streets, and ensure that communities—not criminals—come first. Infrastructure / Transportation He will advocate for access to water, protect property and grazing rights, support the farmers and ranchers who keep food on our tables, and ensure rural communities are not left behind by policymakers who do not understand how they live and work. Environment / Energy He believes in American energy independence, responsible production, and keeping New Mexico competitive for the next generation. Economy As Lieutenant Governor, he will support policies that lower costs, reduce burdensome regulations, and strengthen the private sector so families can build a better future right here at home. Defense / Veterans David supports stronger border enforcement, better cooperation among federal, state, and local agencies, and cracking down on drug trafficking and human smuggling. A secure border protects our families, preserves the rule of law, and strengthens national security. Education David supports empowering parents, improving accountability in public schools, expanding high-quality school options, and ensuring that students are prepared for work, service, and responsible citizenship. Strong families and strong schools are the foundation of a strong state.
