Government Reform I actively resist influences of Corporate PACs and establishments, and will urge fellow board members to follow. Legislation I will use the influence of the board to empower other progressives in politics to take more risks and push progressive and obtainable policy and legislation that meets the needs of constituents. Economy I am committed to ensuring the county board works with our community and those who were recently laid off due to the current regime to diversify our economy away from corporate interest and instead, empower Arlington Economic Development to create programs that enable local start-ups in sectors other than Defence, Contracting, and government consulting. Criminal Justice / Public Safety In the face of attacks on local municipalities regarding the kidnapping of our neighbors, federal taxes being manipulated, and the military being deployed against citizens. I see the sense of urgency surrounding a call for a coalition made up of community members, elected officials, and organizations to create a unified, obtainable, strategic plan for a progressive future.
