Housing She has strengthened homeowner protections by spearheading legislation to hold deed thieves accountable. She has taken on some of the biggest companies in the world to protect consumers’ data and private information. Housing Letitia has a decades-long track record of protecting housing rights for vulnerable New Yorkers. As Attorney General, she has sued landlords and owners across New York for violating the rights of renters, tenants, and those using vouchers to access affordable housing. Healthcare She has been investigating nursing homes throughout New York based on concerns of patient neglect and other conduct that endangers the health and safety of residents and employees, both before, during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Infrastructure / Transportation Letitia is leading the national fight to protect the 2026 elections from the federal government’s attempts to federalize voting. Economy She is laser-focused on keeping costs down for New Yorkers, including from online platforms that would try to raise costs on their customers. Immigration AG James is a fierce defender of immigrants, their rights, and their contributions to our communities and economy. Wages / Job Benefits Letitia is fighting for New Yorkers to have fair wages and access to good-paying jobs, while protecting the men and women of organized labor.
