The Treasurer can and should act to stop this waste and abuse immediately, and Nick will make it a priority to ensure these funds are protected, properly overseen, and used strictly for their intended educational purposes - just like he did as a former CEO. Wages / Job Benefits Nick has built companies and created jobs, and will work with Arizona agencies to grow our economy in a long - term, sustainable way. Education Arizona owns approximately 9 million acres of trust land and maintains a 9.9 billion endowment fund dedicated to the benefit of education. Nick will approach these assets with a long-term, disciplined strategy, improving how they are managed so we can generate greater and more reliable funding for Arizona’s classrooms without raising taxes on families or businesses. Taxes / Budget As our Treasurer, Nick will ensure our state’s finances are run like those of the successful businesses he’s led - so that cities, towns, and school districts have the resources they need now and that our state is investing wisely to support future generations and families, just like yours.
