Environment / Energy I support keeping public lands, public and accessible for multi-purpose use. We are lucky to enjoy the vast beauty of Idaho’s pubic lands and it should remain that way for generations to come. Abortion / Contraception Women deserve autonomy, privacy, respect and understanding. Removing the decision of health care, doesn’t remove the need; instead the decision is made by the government. I support access to IVF. Environment / Energy Water is a vital natural resource. We need to be diligent to protect “first in time, first in line” as that is the law. We must honor personal property rights and simultaneously use science to maintain the integrity of our best natural resource. We must be creative in fostering our farmers as well as the demand for growth Education I support school choice, but do NOT support funding for-profit private schools. It is our constitutional duty to provide “uniform public school system.” Private schools are not “uniform” nor “public.” I do not support accelerating one choice at the expense of the public school system. Vouchers are “budget busters” with no accountability. An educated populace is our future. I was on an IEP and believe we can offer assistance to all students.
