Arts / Culture Promote the arts, culture, and creative industries, which are essential drivers of tourism and economic growth. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Protect vulnerable children from abuse, trafficking, and neglect. Advocate for human trafficking, pimping, commercialized sexual exploitation and crimes against children, women, girls and vulnerable males to be made federal felonies with mandatory minimum sentences. Education Supporting the hiring of properly vetted administrative and teaching personnel to ensure academic excellence. Environment / Energy Encourage responsible environmental stewardship, when cleaning the Maryland Waterways, Tributaries, Water Treatment Plant Facilities, and ensuring that impervious Farm Land soil is not contaminated by solar panel fields. Education Reassessing "The Blueprint For Maryland’s Future" and sponsoring legislation to sustain Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Economy Encourage stronger economic ties between regional trading cities and ports, leveraging Maryland’s strategic location on the East Coast. Social Services Improve support systems and work to sponsor legislation that decommercializes and places uniform federal guidelines and protections of children in Child and Family Welfare Services in Maryland and Foster Care Systems. Economy Advocate for small business loan funds, fair MBE contract inclusion and oversight as it relates to state of Maryland RFP’s and Maryland Works. Strengthen micro-credit programs, and criteria for startup financing for entrepreneurs. Foreign Policy Diplomacy and international cooperation that prioritizes trade, economic partnerships, and cultural exchange. Economy Defend and strengthen the principles of the Community Reinvestment Act to expand access to capital in underserved communities. Taxes / Budget Support and expand on the One Big Beautiful Bill Act that will give a 6,000 tax deduction to seniors over 65 years who make less than 75,000 individually or 150,000 jointly. Also work on a total elimination of state income taxes for retirees. Monitor programs and facilities more efficiently that ensure dignity, care, and independence for seniors. Education Petitioning the Executive Branch to appoint an Education Czar with oversight and auditing power over troubled school districts since The Department of Education will not be eliminated. Economy Promote regional, national, and international trade partnerships that connect Maryland businesses with global markets. Economy Promote Maryland’s unique history, cuisine, and traditions to the world through tourism. Education Expanding arts, music, science, and humanities education in schools.
