Eligibility Requirements
Must be of good moral character, a high school graduate or equivalent and a resident of the district. Cannot be on the governing board of a private elementary or secondary school, on the state or national Sex Offender Registry, a convicted felon or be employed by the school district. Must be a resident of the district for 90 days.
Filing Requirements
Filing fee of $100 for the initial election. Fee for incumbents will be prescribed by city council. No petition signature requirement.
