Must be minimum 25 years old, a state resident for 5 years, and a US citizen for 7 years, and a registered voter.
Filing Requirements
Filing fee is $1693; signature requirement (for independent and minor party candidates) of 3% of the number of votes cast in the district for the office of governor in the last general election.
