County Executive Head in Arkansas County, Arkansas

Must possess the qualifications of an elector, must be a U.S. citizen, must be an Arkansas resident two (2) years before election, must be a resident of the county at time of election and during term of office, must be a minimum of twenty-five (25) years of age, must be lawfully registered to vote, must be a person of upright character, must be a person of good business education, must never have been convicted of embezzlement of public money, bribery, forgery, or other infamous crime.

Candidates should submit either a filing fee of 3% of the annual position salary or a petition signed by at least 1% of the qualified electors residing within the district (but in no event shall more than 2,000 signatures be required).

Submit paperwork to the County Clerk's Elections office.
