The Attorney General is responsible for protecting consumers, combating fraud and corruption, protecting civil rights, and promoting meaningful economic recovery.
Must be at least 30 years old, a qualified elector of the State, an attorney at law with at least 10 years active practice in the Connecticut bar.
Filing Requirements
Filing fee is $0; signature requirement of 2% of party members in the state (major party candidates), 1% of party members in the state (minor party members), or the lesser of 1% of votes cast for office or 7,500 votes (independent candidates).
