The State Treasurer is the chief financial officer of the state that tracks state budgets, manages investments, and receives and deposits money for the state.
Must be at least 30 years old, a resident of the State, and a qualified elector of the State.
Filing Requirements
Filing fee is $0; signature requirement of 2% of party members in the state (major party candidates), 1% of party members in the state (minor party members), or the lesser of 1% of votes cast for office or 7,500 votes (independent candidates).
