The County Legislature or Executive Board is the governing body of the county and exercises broad policy-making authority. The Board is charged with implementing policy and overseeing the county budget process and allocation.
Such officials shall be citizens of the United States and qualified electors of the County. They shall be residents of the district from which they are elected or, in the event of redistricting of the district as adjusted, for at least 1 year prior to their election. Filing Requirements
Filing fee is set by the party county committee (party candidates). Petition signature requirements: 1% of registered voters of the jurisdiction (independant candidates)
