Eligibility Requirements
Candidate must be admitted to practice law in state 5 years (In counties of 40,000 people or less, this five-year requirement is waived altogether, must be county resident, must be a qualified elector, mandatory retirement at age 75.
Filing Requirements
Filing Fee:$6072.88 (4% of the annual salary for the position). Signature requirement: At least 1% of the total number of registered voters in the county as of the last general election for the office
