Candidate must be a citizen of the United States for ten years, a resident of Georgia for four years, and at least 25 years old.
Filing Requirements
Filing is 3% of the annual salary of the office; Signature requirement of partisan candidates unable to pay filing fee is 1% of eligible voters in the previous election for this office, Signature requirement of independent candidates is 5% of eligible voters in the previous election for this office.
