The Board of Supervisors has both legislative and administrative powers and is the policy-making body for the County government. With its authority to adopt legislation and policies for department operations, the Board sets priorities, allocates resources and maintains budgetary control.
A person is eligible for election to the board of supervisors if the person is a registered voter of the county or supervisor district of the county that the supervisor represents
Filing Requirements
No filing fee. Petition signature requirement: 100 signatures or 2% of the party vote in the county at last general, whichever is less.
