Supervisors promote conservation and protection of natural resources, and use state and local funding for conservation and education programs, to identify local natural resource conservation needs, and to provide services to land owners. The Board meets monthly to discuss conservation issues, to implement conservation projects, and conduct District business.
All supervisors shall be landowners or farmers of the district where they are elected or appointed and shall be registered to vote in the state of Idaho.
Filing Requirements
Candidates for election in any political subdivision in Idaho shall be nominated by nominating petitions, each of which shall bear the name of the nominee, the office for which the nomination is made, the term for which nomination is made, bear the signature of not less than five (5) electors of the candidate's specific zone or district of the political subdivision, and be filed with the clerk of the political subdivision.
