The County Auditor, an elected official, is the County's Chief Financial Officer, Property Tax Administrator, and Supervisor of Elections. The Auditor is also a member, by statute, of the county board of equalization, the county canvassing committee, and sits on various other committees, councils, and boards, as directed by the board.
Candidate must be an eligible voter in Minnesota, 21 upon assuming office, resident in the district for 30 days before general, cannot have filed for another office at the upcoming primary or general election.

Filing fee is $50; or signature requirement of 500 instead of the filing fee.
