Soil and Water District Board-Watershed Improvement District Board in Aitkin County, Minnesota

Candidates must be eligible to vote in Minnesota, must have not filed for another office at the upcoming primary or general election, must be 21 years of age or more upon assuming office, and must have maintained residence in their district for at least 30 days before the general election. Furthermore, candidates must have not been convicted of an offense for which they are required to register as a predatory offender.

Filing fee: $20. Petitions: 10% of the total number of individuals voting in the county or legislative district at the last preceding state or county general election, or 500 signatures, whichever is lesser. The 500 signatures requirement can be used instead of the filing fee.
