About this position
SWCDs are local units of government that manage and direct natural resource management programs at the local level. Districts work in both urban and rural settings, with landowners and with other units of government, to carry out a program for the conservation, use, and development of soil, water, and related resources. Supervisors serve on a board of five and are elected at large.

Candidate must be an eligible voter in Minnesota, 21 upon assuming office, resident in the district for 30 days before general, cannot have filed for another office at the upcoming primary or general election
