Eligibility Requirements
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen for 10 years, must be a qualified Missouri voter for at least 3 years, must be a resident of the circuit for at least 1 year, must be licensed to practice law in Missouri, must be at least 25 years old. Retirement is mandatory at age 70.
Filing Requirements
Judge must file a declaration of candidacy for retention. No signatures, no filing fees.
