Eligibility Requirements
A qualified elector who has resided in the county for at least 2 years next preceding the time when he shall become a candidate for said office and must be a resident of the district at the time of filing.
Filing Requirements
Filing Fee: 0.5% of the total annual salary. Petitino Signature Requirement: Independent, Minor Party, and Indigent Candidates are required to submit 5% or more of the total votes cast for the successful candidate for the same office at the last general election. Major party candidates are not required to submit any signatures
