Eligibility Requirements
Candidate must reside in the district in which they are running, be a registered voter, and be at least 21 years old.
Filing Requirements
Filing fee of either $5 or up to 1% of the annual salary of the office sought (set by local board of elections). In lieu of filing fees, petition with signatures from 5% of the party's registered voters in the respective area, or 200 registered voters of any affiliation, whichever is greater.
