The County Auditor is the chief accountant for the county. County Auditor duties include preparing and administering accounting records for county funds, overseeing audits of county departments, and regulating the budget.
Candidate must be at the time of election, a qualified elector in the jurisdiction in which the candidate is to serve.
Filing Requirements
No filing fee; Signature requirement of not less than 2% of the votes cast for the same offices in the last general election that the office appeared on the ballot. However, no more than 300 signatures are required. Candidate must also submit a Certificate of Nomination(SFN 2704), an Affidavit of Candidacy (SFN 2703), and a Statement of Interests (SFN 10172).
