Eligibility Requirements
The candidate must be at least 25 years of age, a qualified North Dakota voter, and resided in North Dakota for the five years preceding the election. In addition, the Attorney General must be licensed to practice law in North Dakota.
Filing Requirements
Filing Fee is $0; signature requirement of 3% of the total votes cast for the candidates for the same office and carrying the same political party affiliation at the last general election or 300 signatures (major party); signature requirement of 1,000 (independent)
