The Local School Clerk is responsible for maintaining and managing school records in an organized manner, assisting and supporting school principals in running schools successfully, and maintaining daily attendance record of students in a school.
Must be a registered voter in the district. May not hold more than one office on a school board. No person employed on a salaried basis by a school administrative unit or by any school district within a school administrative unit shall be a school board member in any district of the school administrative unit.
