The Governor is the chief executive officer of a state and is responsible for implementing state laws and overseeing the operation of the state executive branch. The Governor oversees legislative proposals and vetoes, executive budgets, and implements executive orders.
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, a registered voter in New Hampshire, an inhabitant of the state for 7 years prior to election, and at least 30 years old.
Filing Requirements
Filing fee is $2; In lieu of filing fee, signature requirement of 5 signatures from members of candidate's party (partisan primary). Filling fee is $0; Signature requirement is 150 registered voters in the district (general election).
