State Appellate Court judges are responsible for hearing cases on appeal from lower courts to determine if the law was interpreted and/or applied correctly. Judges in this position are seeking to retain their current seat.

Eligibility Requirements
Candidate must be at least thirty-five years old and practiced law for at least ten years preceding that person's assumption of office. Must have resided in this state for at least three years immediately preceding that person's assumption of office.
Filing Requirements
Filing fee is 0; Signature requirement is 2% of the total votes cast for all of the party's candidates for governor at the last preceding primary election at which the party's candidate for governor was nominated.
