Eligibility Requirements
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen; state resident of at least 3 years; circuit resident of at least 1 year; state bar member; and younger than the mandatory retirement age of 75.
Filing Requirements
Filing Fee- $50 OR The lesser of either (a) 500 signatures or (b) 1% of the number of votes cast for Governor in the district at the most recent election at which a candidate for Governor was elected to a full term.
