Eligibility Requirements
Must be a qualified elector of the Town. No person shall be appointed or serve as a member of the Board who is an officer or employee of the United States, or of the state, or of any city or town in the state.
Filing Requirements
File Declaration of Candidacy between June 25 and June 27, 2018 and Nomination Form with signatures of registered voters of the district determined by city/township (usually at least 50). *Some party positions may be endorsed by party and not need to file. Any candidate for public office, political action committee or political party committee must adhere to Rhode Island's campaign finance laws (R.I.G.L. 17-25).
