About this position
The duties of the Town Sergeant shall be to attend all Town Council meetings, post Town Council agendas to designated bulletin boards in compliance with the Open Meeting Law, transport and post voter list to each district, transport ballots to the State Board of Elections, and assist the Board of Canvassers at all Referenda.

Eligibility Requirements
Candidate must be 18 years or older, have resided in the district for 30 days, and be a US citizen. Municipal employees may not hold an elective office in the city or town in which they are employed.
Filing Requirements
No Filing Fee. Petition signature requirement: 50 voter signatures of the voting district (applies to minor/independent candidates only).
