The Lieutenant Governor is the second-highest ranking official of the state executive office. The Lieutenant Governor is the first successor to the Governor and the presiding officer of the State Senate, only voting to break a tie.
Citizen of the United States, at least thirty years of age, a resident of the Commonwealth and a registered voter in the Commonwealth for five years next preceding his election.
Filing Requirements
Filing fee is 2% of annual salary (major party); signature requirement of 10,000 signatures, including the signatures of at least 400 qualified voters from each congressional district in the Commonwealth
